Delete your account
Option 1: Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open Dayjavoo
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
What gets deleted
- Your account profile data
- Your private content (journal entries, private uploads)
- Your posts and related metadata (where applicable)
What may remain briefly
- Backups and logs kept for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (limited time)
- Content in shared spaces may remain visible to other users depending on the feature (for example messages in a shared chat)
Timeframe
Deletion typically completes within [X days]. Some residual data may persist for a limited period due to backups and legal obligations.
Option 2: Email request
If you cannot access the app, email support@dayjavoo.com from the email address used to create your account.
